Mazzi Odu

MAZZI ODU is a writer, editor and cultural consultant based in Lagos, Nigeria. Of Ugandan descent, Odu is a noted journalist and broadcaster, whose work focuses on jewelry, design and fashion and the way they inform cultural identity and reflect societal evolution. She founded Magnus Oculus as a means to explore these ideas and her bylines have included US Vogue, Vanity Fair, Wallpaper* and numerous other publications.

Odu is passionate about the transformative powers of stories; and the way they can act as a catalyst for change ans alter existing realities.
